The IMG Global Medical Insurance plan is for international citizens and expatriates who want:
- Great

- Offers two coverage areas: Worldwide OR
Worldwide excluding USA and Canada.
- After the deductible, GMI pays 80% of the
next US$5,000 in eligible expenses and then 100% of eligible expenses
incurred in the United States and Canada up to the policy maximums. For
eligible expenses incurred outside United States and Canada GMI will pay
100% of eligible expenses after the deductible up to the policy maximum.
- If treated in USA using First Health
NETWORK - Independent Nationwide PPO, the deductible is reduced by 50% and
coinsurance is waived
- USD $5 Million or $8 Million lifetime
limits
- Pre-existing conditions after 24 months of
coverage covered up to US $50,000 lifetime.
- Optional Maternity coverage - Pre and
Post-natal care will be covered after 12 months of continuous coverage up
to a lifetime maximum of $50,000. The benefit is limited to $5,000 per
normal delivery and $7,500 per C- Section delivery.
- Newborns from eligible maternities are now
eligible without evidence of medical insurability. An application and
premium must be submitted within the first 31 days of birth
- The Global Medical Insurance plan should
NOT be purchased by expatriates who currently are or are planning to
become permanently residents in the United States! You must currently OR
plan to reside outside of the USA for at least 6 months of the year. The

This plan is for international citizens & expatriates who want:

$5000 & $1000 USD deductible

In-Patient Only (hospital), In & Out-Patient and ability to add
Medicine & Appliances such as hearing aids
- Medical evacuation is an option
- 100% coverage of most expenses regardless of where you seek treatment,
including in the USA
- Overall policy maximum of $1.5 Million USD per person per policy
year.
- Free choice of hospitals, clinics and doctors
- Ability to keep the plan for life guaranteed
- All nationalities considered
- Premiums are age related only, not based on country of residence
- Possibility of obtaining cover in spite of most pre-existing conditions,
either with no extra charge, a surcharge or with an exclusion
- Greater portability and ability to take plan home, even to USA, if your
local state permits
- Great for seniors - can apply up to age 79! (extra premium loading for
over those age 60 or above)
- Option for Vision and Dental coverage
- Maternity coverage (see brochure) - only applies after policy in-force for
more than 12 months
- Children up to age 9 are covered for free - up to 4 children under
10 years per family (2 per paying insured) are covered free of charge

Details
For your protection, all insurance premiums are payable direct to
insurance company or plan administrator by credit card, check or money order.
Claims inquiries should be made directly to insurance company and/or plan
administrator. Remember to pre-certify claims where possible. Most plans will
settle claims in any freely convertible currency.
Other plans are available on request if the
above don't meet your needs. Make sure that you fully read plan brochure and
terms and conditions before applying..
